Become a Superhero With a Homemade Thor Hammer

If you're tired of sitting around waiting to get bitten by a radioactive spider or for Batman to retire and leave you his Batmobile (and hopefully Alfred), then take matters into your own hands — build your own hammer that could rival Thor's.

In this video Hackaday teaches us how to trick out a hammer to superhero proportions. It may not actually summon lightning like Mjölnir does, but this one is powered by 80,000 volts.

Unfortunately, the hammer probably won't defeat all your archnemeses, but come Halloween-time you'll have a pretty bangin' costume on your hands.
