Robot Befriends Little Girl in Cutest Comic-Con Moment Ever

Comic-Con only entered day two on Friday, but we've already nominated this moment as the sweetest encounter of the convention.

In the unexpected meeting, a 10-foot-tall robot comes across a little girl named Zoe. "May I destroy you?" he asks politely. When she declines his offer, they decide to become friends. The crowd claps and cheers, and the rest is history.

The robot suit was created by the Stan Winston School of Character Arts in collaboration with Wired, YouTube and Legacy Effects. While the suit isn't necessarily practical for stunts and movies, it can handle low-impact movements and moments of Pixar-style friendship formations.
