US job moves: Google, Ford, Allstate, Guess, Time

Once again we've put together the most senior and influential job moves in the US.

This time we cover another Google hire, a move from General Motors to Ford, a resignation at Allstate and CEO and a loss for News Corp to Time, Inc.

Allstate chief marketing officer Mark LaNeve has resigned for personal reasons. Before joining Allstate in 2009 LaNeve was a sales executive at General Motors.

Brightwave, an email marketing agency, appointed BKV's Jessica Johnston as creative director.

Clickable has made five new hires including Dave Fall as chief operating officer, David Smith as chief revenue officer, Sanjay Gupta as senior director of engineering, and Brian Tucker as VP of agency sales.

D50 expanded it's social and PR offerings with a new Senior Manager of Integrated Communications, Don Martelli, and social media journalist, Abigail Gilmore.

Echo recently promoted Chris Saad to Chief Strategy Officer.

Ford has taken on former General Motors media director, Jay Cooney, to join their communications team.

Google snagged Adam Singer from Future Buzz to join the Google Analytics team in product marketing.

Guess hired Amber Tarshis as Senior Vice President, Marketing. Tarhis was the former chief marketing officer for The Hub TV Network.

Horizon Media named Stan Fields as EVP/Managing Partner and will manage clients such as Siemens Enterprise Communications.

HootSuite has two new additions to its team. Aki Kaltenbach joins as Director of Solution Partners and Noel Pullen joins as Director of Web.

Initiative's Global CEO, Richard Beaven, is leaving his role and will be succeeded by Jim Hytner, who currently manages Universal McCann in Europe and Asia. 

Jamba promoted Susan Shields to the new position of senior vice president and chief innovation officer and Julie S. Washington to the role of senior vice president and chief brand officer.

J. C. Penney appointed Laurie Beja Miller as executive vice president, The Square. Miller was the former senior vice president and general manager Americas at Bare Escentials.

Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners just lost Steven Thibodeau as chief digital officer. He also served as president of its direct and interactive agency Dotglu. He will be focusing more on LOVE, the non-profit group he co-founded with his wife.

Lippe Taylor hired former Porter Novelli brand marketing executive vice president Sheryl Kornfeld as it's own EVP, a new position at Lippe Taylor.

LPL Financial brought on Merrill Lynch's former VP of strategic marketing, Joan Khoury, as managing director and chief marketing officer.

SecureAuth Corporation appointed Soumya Das as chief marketing officer.

The New School, just around the corner from our US office, named Christopher Fleener as their new Social Media Director.

Time Inc. hired former Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications of News Corp, Teri Everett, as their Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications.
