One of the most recurring trends at the Republican National Convention has been cowboy hats
Lots, and lots of cowboy hats.

Another popular fashion choice at the convention has been sparkles. This attendee rocks a patriotic vest with matching Romney/Ryan bear.
Bonus: the stuffed animal has its own Facebook Page, which gives a "bear's-eye" view of the convention.

The seersucker suit adds a nice touch to this couple's matching ocnvention hats.
Internet users have jokingly speculated whether Honest Abe is the GOP mystery speaker -- could this be a hint?

Hat's off to the unique apparel being donned at the 2012 Republican National Convention. Between talk of who the mysterious, unannounced GOP speaker will be, Twitter has been abuzz with talk about the unique things that people are wearing at the RNC.
Wonder if we'll see the hats worn at the RNC at the next Kentucky Derby? Quite fetching.

Among a sea of cowboy hats, there are also hard hats, sequins and plenty of other patriotic duds. Mashable reporter Alex Fitzpatrick is on the ground at the Tampa Convention Center, where all of the action is happening.
Some are going as far as incorporating social media into their outfit. Out of all the crazy attire, we tip our hat (sorry) to the woman from Kansas who not only coordinated her sequin vest to match her bear it also has a Facebook Page, which features updates and photos of where the stuffed animal is at the convention.
