Don't know how to make 3D chalk art? Chris Carlson demonstrates how it's done by drawing Super Mario and a Nintendo console controller in this time-lapsed video.
Carlson uses a ruler to perfect the angles for the video game character and iconic controller. By the end, his knees are a scary shade of purple. The artwork took 11 hours to complete in Denver, Colo.
The video is a collection of photographs, taken by Mike Larremore, stitched together.
