'World War Z': The Good, Bad and Funny Social Media Reviews

Brad Pitt's zombie-apocalypse flick, World War Z, hit theaters over the weekend, giving antsy moviegoers around the country a first look at Hollywood's latest undead undertaking.

At time of writing, the film had raked in upward of $66 million domestically (roughly $110 million worldwide) and had notched a 67% on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer. Per the review-aggregating site, 86% of audience members enjoyed the movie, landing it an average rating of 4.3/5. Of course, many critics — professional, armchair and otherwise — also turned to social media platforms to make their voices heard.

Twitter and Google+ were a mix of earnest reviews and 140-character jokes.
