UK job moves: BBC, Channel 4, Kraft, Net-a-Porter

Once again we compile the most senior, surprising and influential job moves in the UK.

This time we cover a well-deserved promotion at the BBC, fresh sales blood at Channel 4, a huge coup for Kraft - and a publishing heavyweight joining Net-a-Porter

Havas-owned Archibald Ingall Stretton has hired Neil Kleiner, UK head of social media at Havas Media, to head its newly-created social media division, called AIS Social.

The BBC has promoted Sophie Brendel from head of digital engagement to head of digital communications, adding PR for BBC Future Media, technology & archive to her beat. The Beeb has also hired two new digital publicists: Christian Ward and Ian Walker.

Channel 4 has appointed Matt Salmon, group commercial director at Hearst Magazines UK, as head of agency sales.

DFS has appointed Helen Normoyle, formerly director of marketing at the BBC, as its chief marketing officer.

EPiServer has today announced the appointment of Reema Gainley as Country Manager of the UK and Ireland, to build on the company's 35% annual growth in the region through further product innovation and strategic partnerships.

Kraft has successfully lured PepsiCo's senior global director of digital and social media Bonin Bough into the position of VP of global digital and consumer engagement at the food company.

LinkShare, the world's largest affiliate network, has hired Mark Haviland as Chief Commercial Officer. Haviland was formerly at CNN International, where he was responsible for driving audience growth for the broadcaster across the EMEA region.

Net-a-Porter has hired Tess Macleod Smith as its new group publishing director. She was previously publishing director of Hearst UK's Esquire and Harper's Bazaar, a role she left in September of last year.  

OMD Group has appointed Matthew Wigham, previously head of investment at Manning Gottlieb OMD, to a newly created role as head of investment across the group.

Razorfish has appointed Sean Chambers to the new role of VP and executive creative director in the UK following his stint as a freelance creative director on the company's Lynx account.
