Piers Morgan Dedicates a ‘RIP’ Tweet to Each Child Killed in Newtown Shooting

After Connecticut chief medical examiner H. Wayne Carver released the names and birth dates of the victims from Friday's Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on Saturday, tributes began appearing across social networks.

Among them, CNN TV host Piers Morgan dedicated a Rest in Peace tweet to each of the 20 children killed in the shooting and one tweet for the six adult victims.

Officials say a shooter, identified as 20-year-old Adam Lanza, gunned down the 26 victims at the school in Newtown, Conn., before taking his own life. Lanza also killed his mother, Nancy.

Jake Tapper, a senior White House correspondent for ABC News, also notably paid tribute on his Twitter account with individual tweets for each victim. The children were all ages 6 or 7.

In tweets to his nearly 3 million followers that appeared before the RIP tributes, Morgan criticized the medical examiner (pictured above) for his behavior at Saturday's press conference at Treadwell Memorial Park in Newtown.

Morgan heatedly discussed the tragedy Friday night on his show, Piers Morgan Tonight, saying to a guest, "How many more kids have to die, before you guys say, 'We want less guns, not more.'"
