Yahoo's co-founder, Jerry Yang, has resigned from the company he cultivated for 17 years to pursue new opportunities. This announcement comes only two weeks after the appointment of Scott Thompson as Yahoo's new CEO.
Twitter has poached Google ad sales vet Rob Goulding. He joins the team after 6 years with Google to be Twitter's national inside sales manager.
SAP, the business software giant, has a new senior VP of marketing in the shape of SAP Julie Roehm. She takes the post with a resume that includes significant roles at Wal-Mart, Chrysler and Ford.
Wal-Mart is also making some changes. Former CBS Interactive Head Neil Ashe will now be helming Wal-Mart Stores' global online commerce unit. He's in to replace Eduardo Castro-Wright who is retiring.
Salesforce.com has secured Vivek Kundra as their next EVP of emerging markets. Kundra is most known for his role as Chief Information Officer of the United States, as appointed by President Barack Obama.
Livescribe, the digital pen maker, has brought on former HP executive Gilles Bouchard as their chief executive. He will be replacing Jim Marggraff, who will remain as a part-time adviser and board member.
The WPP media agency has created a new role - CEO of MediaCom USA. Sasha Savic will be leaving his postition as CEO of Havas Media Group North America to serve in this role under Harvey Goldhersz, MediaCom North America CEO.
