South by Southwest Interactive officially drew to a close Tuesday with the 15th Annual Interactive Awards. The awards honored not only well-known sites and services from the past year such as Pinterest and Storify, but also highlighted sites, services and apps that you may have never heard of.
While Highlight was certainly the most buzzed-about app at this year's conference, the Facebook-stalker video-maker Take This Lollipop was the one walking away with the Best in Show award from SXSWi. It also took top honors in the Experimental category.
Pinterest took the award for Breakout Digital Trend and Lego walked away with honors in the Amusement category for its iOS app Life of George, which turns building things with real-life blocks into an interactive game for your mobile phone.

Lego's Life of George won this year's award in the amusement category.
The amusement category is for "humor, memes, games, interesting projects and all the stuff that is weird for the sake of weird."
Bla Bla, a film made for computers, took top honors in the Art category this year.
Including traditional photography and a non-traditional performances, the Art category "focuses on interactive collections of life, society and culture."
SCREW*D won this year's Business category award.
The category is "devoted to the promotional needs, functions and services of for-profit businesses."
Expedition Titanic took home this year's Classic category award.
The category "is devoted to projects that launched before January 1, 2011."
The Community award this year went to Big Stories, Small Towns.
The category is dedicated to "social networks and wikis that have quickly developed an extraordinarily active multi-user community and an exceptional following of users who assist with content development."
Projeqt took top honors this year in the Educational Resource category.
The category is dedicated to projects to "digital projects that help you learn."
Take This Lollipop was the big winner in the Experimental category for 2012.
The Facebook Connect-driven site dares people to "Take This Lollipop," and then with the users permission trolls through their photos, friend lists, news feeds and other personal information to create a chilling video.
The Experimental category is reserved for "cutting-edge and trend-setting works that are pushing the envelope and challenging our perceptions of the what's possible."
Originally a video uploaded to Facebook in 2010, online documentary Goa Hippie Tribe took the top spot in the Film/TV category.
The Film/TV category is for "projects related to actors, television, films and the film industry, as well as works that offer streaming video content."
WebGL interactive music experience Lights was 2012's Motion Graphics winner.
The Motion Graphics category is for "animations, cartoons, and other intriguing works built using tools like Adobe Flash and HTML5."
Obsessed with Sound, which singles out individual musicians in an orchestra video won this year at SXSW Interactive in the Music category.
The Music category is for "projects related to musicians, bands, and the music industry, as well online radio and other developments that offer streaming audio content."
Chair Trips was this year's winner in the Personal category.
The Personal category is dedicated to "the blogs, portfolios, pet projects and personal collections of individuals who are displaying their work and passions in the digital space."
Storify, a site that helps uses tell stories using social media dominated the Social Media category this year.
The Social Media category is for "users and campaigns that are creatively connecting and sharing their experience."
Pinterest won the award at this year's show for best Breakout Digital Trend.
Coal a Love Story was this year's Student category winner.
The Student category "is devoted exclusively to the student designers who are refreshing this industry with new talent and new ideas."
The Eye-Fi iPad app allows you to upload full resolution photos & videos directly from your digital camera to your iPad, and won this year's Technical Achievement award.
The Technical achievement award is for "projects that are re-inventing and re-defining the technical parameters of our online experience."
