‘Replacement Google’ Imagines NFL’s Sub Refs Ruling the Internet

The NFL's crew of replacement refs has drawn avalanches of criticism both online and off for getting things wrong while the league has been mired in a labor standoff with its regular officials' union this season. Now the website Replacement Google expresses officiating angst in an appropriately web-based way for Mashable readers — by imagining if the current NFL situation applied to the search engine.

The site caused a brief sensation among the Twitterati when it first popped up Tuesday, and its premise is simple: Enter a search term and get some results that are completely wrong. My name, for example, turned up returned results for "Lunchables." Give the site a whirl for yourself and let us know what you think in the comments.
