'Freaks and Geeks' Game Takes You Back to McKinley High

The series may have ended awhile ago (and far too soon, in our opinion), but Judd Apatow's Freaks and Geeks is still alive and well in many of our hearts.

This interactive YouTube game from The Fine Bros packs in a whole season's worth of references.

Each player follows Lindsay Weir around her life at home and school. Depending on how well you remember the events of the show (including how to find the area of a rhombus), the video leads you on a path of memories from the season.

Right now you can only play as Lindsay and the "freaks," but Sam and the "geeks" should be arriving for the game soon.

1. FreddieW

   Freddie Wong and his FreddieW Channel are something of a legend on YouTube. That's thanks to his insanely well-produced videos, featuring Hollywood-level special effects. Most episodes are inspired by video games or action movies, but they're also almost always laced with a bit of comedy. He's so famous that he's been able to get actors like Jon Favreau and Shenae Grimes to guest star.

2. Geek & Sundry

   Felicia Day became a pioneer of nerdy programming in 2007 with her web series, The Guild, and she's looking to change the game again with her new YouTube channel, Geek & Sundry. The just-launched channel features Day's own show, The Flog, as well as Tabletop, a geeky gameboard show with Wil Wheaton, plus motion comics from Dark Horse, and full seasons of The Guild.

3. StarKidPotter

   Even if you're not a gleek, there's still plenty to like about the creative musical theater act, StarKid Productions. A few years ago they blew up the Internet with two Harry Potter parody musicals. Then they released the epic sci-fi puppet show Starship. Now they're bringing their talents to Holy Musical, B@man!, a musical inspired by everyone's favorite caped crusader.

4. The Nerdist Channel

   Now that Chris Hardwick and Nerdist Industries have conquered the world of podcasts, it's time to turn to YouTube. The new Nerdist Channel includes shows starring Harry Knowles from Ain't It Cool News, video game geeks, The Indoor Kids, and Weird Al Yankovic. Hardwick also pops up, as he puts his bowling skills to the test against teams of nerdy celebrity competitors. More shows are slated with the likes of music icon, Rob Zombie.

5. BlackNerdComedy

   Any nerdy YouTube channel features at least one likable, high-energy star that doles out funny, obscure pop culture references in rapid-fire succession. For this list, that role is filled by Andre of BlackNerdComedy. His show features informed retro-pop commentary that's funny and well written. Plus, the guy's not afraid to wear his geek on his sleeve (or a Smurf hat on his head).
