We've seen enough horror movies to know the two rules that characters always break: Don't split up, and don't go "check it out."

When someone utters the line, "Let's split up," it's a surefire sign that a few characters will soon meet their makers.

YouTube channel Slackatory created a supercut of movie characters unwisely suggesting they go their separate ways. Pulling clips from more than 50 flicks, the above video makes it clear that old habits die hard when you exist in a scary movie.
