APAC job moves: DDB Sydney, Mediabrands Analytics, The Brand Agency, Saatchi Lab

Once again we compile the most senior, surprising and influential job moves in the APAC region.

This time we cover a re-meeting of minds at DDB Sydney, a new boss at Mediabrands Analytics, some senior talent from the UK joining The Brand Agency and a senior appointment at Saatchi Labs.

DDB Sydney has poached creative director Scott Huebscher from Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand. This reunites Huebscher with former boss Dylan Harrison, who quit Saatchi to join DDB as ECD in September 2010.

Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed John Morgan as COO for Asia. The former Golin Harris executive will serve a dual role as MD for Hong Kong.

McCann Worldgroup has appointed Dave McCaughan as global director of its Truth Central division, and Richard McCabe as regional planning director for Asia Pacific.

Leo Burnett has hired Saatchi & Saatchi's planning director Toffael Rashid as its own regional planning director for Samsung Asia Pacific.

Mediabrands Analytics (part of the Mediabrands group) has brought on ex-Commbank GM of customer analytics, Chris Carr, as its MD.

The Brand Agency has appointed Naked's founding partner John Harlow as director of communications planning. He is understood to be leaving his London base to take up the role at the Perth-based agency in the next few months.

Ogilvy has added Graham Fink, chief creative officer for Ogilvy & Mather China, to its Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

Platinum Communications has appointed Matthew Prowse as marketing manager. He joins from his role as national promotions and visual merchandising manager for Foxtel .

Saatchi Lab has appointed Jason Cheng as its MD, bringing him back to the fold after his first role with them 16 years ago. He will be tasked with consolidating and expanding on the digital component of the existing five Saatchi & Saatchi offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, as well as Team One (a specialised team dedicated to the Lexus account in Saatchi's Beijing office).

Sentia Media, formerly Media Monitors, has appointed ACP Magazines' national group sales manager of digital Simon Hopkins as commercial director of its social media monitoring platform Brandtology.
