It's a burning question from music aficionados: "Why doesn't MTV play music videos anymore?"
Sketch comedy duo Brian Firenzi and Maria Carmen attempt to provide an answer in the above clip in which he plays a MTV executive and she acts as Natalie Jones, a concerned viewer in her mid-20s.
The faux exec rips into Natalie and her generation, blaming them for the downfall of music videos and pointing her to the obvious places like YouTube to find what she so dearly wants.
One can't help but wonder if there's truth to the biting humor, so Mashable contacted MTV for a comment.
"F**k that," an MTV spokesperson said (for real). "Natalie always has a home at MTV."
