How often do you wish you could see notifications on your phone but not hear them? At the movies, or in a quiet office or waiting room, the existing iOS "LED Flash for Alerts" feature is extremely useful. But how can you use this feature if the flash is covered?
Sparx is a protective case that lights up when you receive a notification night or day. Normally, the flash alert feature works if your iPhone 5 is face down and the camera's flash is face up. Sparx uses the flash for incoming alerts and, through a translucent hex window in the upper corner, you can see that you're receiving a phone call, text or other notification no matter what orientation your iPhone 5 is in.
This isn't the first time the developers have looked to Kickstarter to fund an alert light project. They didn't meet the goal of their last project, a similar case for the iPhone 4, with only $30,000 out of $75,000 raised. This time, the project has received $2,223 of $50,000 and ends in 51 days.
These are great. I will definitely use it for my iPhone? desktop notification software
