Dave Coulier of Full House fame is bringing his wacky impressions and harmonica to the big screen as part of Clean Guys of Comedy, a family-friendly standup show being broadcast live Thursday in nearly 700 movie theaters across the United States.
"It doesn't take a genius to figure out that people appreciate the laughter without the f-bomb aftertaste," Coulier told Mashable. And thus, the Clean Guys of Comedy was born.
The Sept. 19 show, which takes place at 8:30 p.m., will feature other comedians, including Jamie Kennedy, Heather McDonald, Ralph Harris and Andy Hendrickson. They'll perform their routines inside Denver's Buell Theatre, as footage beams live to U.S. cinemas.
Tickets can be purchased at participating theaters or via CleanGuysOfComedy.com. After the initial live broadcast, which will be orchestrated by NCM Fathom Events and Clean Guys Entertainment, the show will be rebroadcast in theaters on Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m., local time.
Coulier plans to showcase his signature impressions and harmonica stylings during his bit. (But don't expect Uncle Joey's famed Mr. Woodchuck to make an appearance an unfortunate incident with Coulier's dog left him without a face.)
"I'm a glorified birthday clown," Coulier said. "Professional immaturity is what I do."
